Walt's Journey with Dementia
Early in her 50”s, my first wife was diagnosed with early-onset dementia. After that, I had no idea that I was on a 15 years journey of exhaustion and confusion. I was losing my wife to this disease and was left with no hope. I told my family during this 15 year journey with dementia, “there ought to be someone to help us with this.”
Then the time came when it became unsafe for her to live at home. We placed her in a Senior Memory Care Community, and after that, I was so surprised to find that she was finally happy there.

2022 Harmony Africa Outreach
We have worked with Comfort My People Ministries for over 20 years promoting and funding various projects for Rwandan Widows and Orphans from the 1994 Genocides. This trip Walt taught at Teen Challenge (drug program for young men) and three conferences. He got moms out of the hospital with their babies by paying their hospital bill (they can’t leave until their bills is paid). One mom had been there 3 months waiting to go home.
Walt got mattresses for 20 moms who were sleeping on the ground with their child and 105 moms got health insurance for 1 year.
